Dr. Tim Cooke
 

Tim Cooke has a DPhil from a Oxford and a Brunel MTech. He has worked for 40 years in the IT services and IT products industry. He was an early employee with Logica, where he set up Logica’s business in the Nordic countries and Australia and went on to become Chief Executive, Logica Communications Ltd responsible for all systems integration and products business in the telecoms, media, computer vendor, transport and government sectors. He later went on to IPO three companies on the London stock market including the market’s first internet IPO.

He is Chairman of Cambridge Flat Projection Displays and is a Non Executive Director of Panacea, a systems integration company, Myguides, a web publishing company and The Chesham Building Society. He also advises Brunel University on technology commercialisation.

Stephen Scholefield
 

Stephen is the founder and Managing Director of Clarinet Systems Ltd (Clarinet), a leading UK provider of electronic publishing and security systems for International publishers in the USA, UK and Europe. He is an IT entrepreneur.

Stephen Scholefield is a Non-Executive Director of Neftex, and has over 20 years of oil industry experience. His primary role for the company is in guiding the IT strategies necessary for the successful web-based delivery of huge integrated digital databases.

Stephen started his career in 1983 in exploration and production with Shell in Aberdeen, where he spent 4 years working on oil platform design. He then left to take an MBA at Cranfield University prior to starting Clarinet. Before joining Shell he gained a BSc in Electronic Engineering and an MSc in Project Management from Southampton University.

Stephen sails an offshore race boat, and is a keen skier and 7-Summits mountaineer.
